C2MP partners were part of a UBC research team that designed and facilitated Visualizing Neighbourhood Energy Futures, community energy and GHG literacy workshops for citizens and planning staff as part of Vancouver's neighbourhood planning process.

The interactive neighbourhood energy workshops increased participant land use and community energy literacy using neighbourhood scale energy modeling, future energy strategies, 3D visualizations, and interactive neighbourhood design tools.

Building citizen capacity to engage on the Greenest City goals of Climate Leadership, Green Buildings, and Green Mobility, the workshops were part of a larger UBC-SFU research project investigating various forms of engagement.
